Therapy for High-Achieving Adults With Anxiety, OCD, and Perfectionism
Online Throughout North Carolina, Virginia, & Pennsylvania

From the outside, your life looks successful. You show up for work and take care of your family.
You meet your deadlines and keep your commitments. Most people would describe you as dependable, capable, and hardworking.
What they don’t see is the conversation running nonstop inside your head.
The decision you’ve turned over 50 times. The fear of getting it wrong. The quiet pressure to keep everyone around you happy. You’re carrying far more than anyone realizes.
Anxiety has convinced you that if you think about something long enough, you'll finally feel certain. OCD keeps you cycling through checking, reassurance, and intrusive thoughts that refuse to leave.
Somewhere along the way, doing everything right became the whole point, and you forgot what it feels like to enjoy your own life.
For years you’ve chased the idea that peace would arrive with the next promotion, the next milestone, the next thing you cross off the list.
Instead, the finish line keeps moving. And so does the pressure.

Many of the people I work with have become experts at looking calm while privately running the whole show inside their heads. They're the one everyone else depends on.
And they’re usually the last person anyone would guess is struggling. After enough years of holding the line, it catches up with you.
You pull back from the people you care about. The numbness creeps in, then the irritability over things that never used to bother you. And underneath it all sits one quiet question: why does life feel this heavy when everything looks fine?
It's easy to tell yourself this is just who you are. That you'll always be an overthinker. That anxiety is simply part of your personality.
That if you work a little harder, get a little more disciplined, find one more strategy, things will finally feel different.
But waiting rarely changes anything.
Anxiety grows louder. OCD asks for more certainty. Perfectionism keeps raising the bar.
And slowly, life gets organized around avoiding fear instead of pursuing what you actually want.
Imagine waking up without your mind already racing. Making a decision without replaying every possible outcome for an hour first. Having real tools to handle anxiety, instead of letting anxiety handle you.
And underneath all of it, discovering that your worth was never tied to your productivity or your performance.
This is the work we’d do together. We’ll make sense of what’s keeping you on this loop, build practical strategies, and create change that holds.

My approach blends Solution-Focused Therapy
with two evidence-based methods:
Every session is built around your story, your goals, and the life you're trying to create.
If you're ready to stop carrying everything alone, I'd be glad to help.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and I’ve spent more than 25 years helping people work through anxiety, OCD, depression, perfectionism, and life’s hardest seasons.
Here’s something I’ve learned over those years:
Real change doesn’t start with someone telling you what’s wrong with you. It starts with curiosity.
Clients often tell me they've shared things with me
they've never told anyone else. I don't take that lightly.
My goal is to give you a place to be honest about what you’re carrying, even the parts that feel messy or confusing.
From there, we work together to find a way forward. I believe therapy should be practical and compassionate, focused on real change rather than endless processing.
I offer secure online counseling for adults, adolescents, and children across North Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. My hope for you is simple: to move from surviving to living, with more peace, clarity, and freedom along the way.

You’ve spent a long time making sure everyone else was okay. It’s time to put some of that care toward yourself.
If you’re ready to move past the anxiety, the OCD, the perfectionism, and the pressure to have it all figured out, I’d be glad to help.
